who you callin' {hallow}WEENY??!!

I dislike Halloween.

I always have ~ even as a kid. I'm not anti-Halloween; I'm just not into it. If my kids want to dress up and go trick-or-treating, I'll take them, but if they'd rather stay home and eat candies and chocolates that their mom bought on sale earlier in the week... so much the better. We don't even have a jack-o-lantern this year.

I know this totally makes me a party-pooper, a stick in the mud, a weeny.
Whatever. I've got my fluorescent orange socks on....

I AM dressed up for Halloween!

PhotoStory Friday

I'm so excited to have some fun novelty socks! (It's the little things, people.) I only just received them from a friend this week, so today is their very first experience with my feet. I think it's going okay.

I love Halloween even though I don't love candy. I love costumes. My only problem is that I procrastinate, which makes me end up NOT celebrating it like I could.

I wouldn't push the trick'or'treating either if my kids didn't want to do it.

Enjoy your quiet night at home. It sounds like it will be fun!

for me it is all about the costumes...I love to dress up, maybe the kid in me. I am also a sucker for cool socks!

Love the socks. I'm finding actually as I get older I like Halloween more. Maybe it's because of the kids on my bus. They make all of the holidays more fun.

Too cute!! At least you had the socks!!! I dressed in a black velour jogging suit and "puke green" tank. That was the extent of my Halloween costumization! ;-)

Well, that's more of a costume than I had on! :) Uh...not that I was naked. I mean, I just didn't wear anything other than regular every day clothes. (sigh)

I don't HATE Halloween either. I just think it's a pain in the butt to get candy that you don't like. I'd rather buy a big bag of reese's cups and be done with it. And the whole jack o lantern carving. Ick. At least this year my kids needed very very little help. Thank goodness for "safe" pumpkin knives!

Cute socks. And as long as you're not "anti" then no biggie if Halloween isn't your holiday. :)

Love the socks! I "thankfully" had an Orange and Black party in my class today so I only had to wear Orange and Black and my outfit was super comfy.

I love doing the after-holiday shopping for the decorations. This year, I got a skeleton thing that hangs up and moves his arms and says "Booooo" or something like that. It was marked from $20.00 to $3.75. I love it. hee hee.

You're not alone. We didn't have a jack-o-lantern this year either. I did dress up, however. The first time in 30 years...it made it fun!
